Meet Jasper Jay (JJ), a 6 yo American Pit Bull Terrier mix, my heart dog and the inspiration behind Jasper’s Canine Club. He’s the ultimate trail buddy and never complains about the conditions.
Sweet. Adventurous. Smart. Goofy.
Jasper was born with congenital deafness, a genetic defect that resulted in bilateral deafness (no hearing in either ear). Congenital deafness is often pigment related (some studies indicate there is a recessive gene) resulting in all or mostly white coats.
He’s eager to make new friends — see you on the trails!

Hi, it's Amanda... the human component of Jasper’s Canine Club.
My mission with Jasper’s Canine Club is to provide dogs access to adventurous and fulfilling experiences in nature while also building lasting canine friendships.
In 2022, I graduated from the My Dog Camp course, a Vermont-based education program taught by professional dog trainers. Additionally, I completed a 3-day intensive shadow program with a My Dog Camp graduate.
Ongoing education includes coursework and training materials from Rhonda Bilodeau, The Incredible K9, Walking Dog Training, Pack Life LA, and Adventure Hounds NC to name a few.
My personal pack also includes two additional deaf dogs — Dansby (German Shorthaired Pointer) and Meena (American Pit Bull).
